Sachin Tendulkar offered his condolences to the 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama Terror attack. He shared that his heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones

At least 40 CRPF soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack on Thursday in Pulwama. The attack has shaken the nation and left everyone heartbroken. This was the second big attack in the region after the Uri attack of 2016 which killed 20 personnel. 

The whole nation is in grieve and many people took to their social media pages to offer their condolences and respect to the martyrs. Many Bollywood and sports celebrities also offered their condolences on their social media pages and prayed for the lost souls and their family members. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also prayed for the brave souls.

Sachin Tendulkar shared a post on his Instagram page which reads, “Cowardly, dastardly, meaningless… My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones and prayers for recovery of those brave hearts in hospital. Salute to your commitment to “Service and Loyalty” CRPF!”

As reported by Times of India, Narendra Modi has reacted to the attacks on CRPF forces. 

The PM said, “I want to tell the terrorists and their backers… they have made a big mistake. You will have to pay a very heavy price… I assure everyone that the forces behind the attack… we will bring them to justice.”

Bollywood actor Shabana Azmi said that India should not have any cultural exchange with Pakistan. The actor tweeted, “#Pulwama attack There is no way we can carry on with cultural exchanges between India and Pakistan even as our  martyrs are laying down their lives for us. I stand in solidarity with the grieving families.”
